I am choosing to do another breath / discipline meditation this week, although it might be folly. I do not plan on doing this daily, this time; I will wait a few days before starting this, and only do it 4 or 5 times this week. Again, I’m exhausted from shallow breathing, and actually ill from the smoke residue from the wildfires. I need a bit of a break.

This breathing set is something Alberto Villoldo teaches in his book:

It is a breathing set to bring up trance for journeying. It is a seven-breath cycle, holding for seven counts, breathing out for seven counts, holding in, breathing out. I don’t know that I can do seven yet; I will start with three, and see how that goes.
